When it comes to fire and smoke protection, reliability is everything. That’s why we go beyond the industry standard to offer a 10-year product warranty, providing long-term fire safety and peace of mind well after typical warranties have expired.
What makes our warranty exceptional
While the industry standard for fire curtain warranties is just 12 months, we believe real reliability lasts far longer. That’s why we back our fire and smoke curtains with an unrivalled 10-year warranty – a testament to their superior craftsmanship, durability, and performance. Designed to stand the test of time, our curtains provide lasting fire protection you can trust, year after year.
What’s covered
For fire & smoke curtains that are installed and maintained by us at Adexon, this warranty provides unmatched coverage when the following conditions are met:
- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM): PPM visits carried out by Adexon engineers every six months from installation (or more frequently if advised).
- Exclusive servicing by Adexon: All servicing, inspections, and any other work must be conducted by Adexon to ensure consistency and quality.
- Use of original Adexon parts: Any replacement parts used during maintenance must be Adexon-manufactured.
- Battery replacements every two years: Batteries must be replaced by Adexon every two years (at an additional cost to the PPM service).
- Regular testing: A system test must be conducted and recorded with date-stamped photographic and/or video evidence showing full deployment and retraction (Occurrence determined by system).
- Immediate repairs for damage: Any damage, including paintwork issues, must be repaired as soon as possible.
The warranty commences on delivery of the products to the address where they are intended to be installed.
What’s not covered
While our 10-year warranty offers unmatched peace of mind, it does not cover:
- Fair wear and tear (e.g., batteries, fabric wear, seals)
- Damage from vandalism, misuse, or improper handling
- Electrical
Keeping your warranty valid
To maintain full coverage, it is the customer’s responsibility to schedule and book the required PPM visits. By ensuring regular maintenance and compliance, you can maximise the lifespan and effectiveness of your fire and smoke protection system.
